LIBRARY LEARNERS HOMESCHOOL MEETUP
APRIL 18, MAY 16, & AUGUST 15 — 10 – 11AM
Learn to utilize library resources for a successful homeschool experience. Meet fellow home educators to share ideas, triumphs, challenges, and concerns. There will not be a meet up in June or July due to Summer Reading programs.
JOSIE B’S BOOK CLUB

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK BOOK BAG DRAWING
APRIL 23 – 29
This year’s drawing is for our heavy-duty C.E. Brehm Memorial Library book bags. You can enter at the Circulation Desk by checking out a book or any other item starting April 23. Only one entry per person per day. Entries will be taken until April 29. Drawing will be held on May 1.
LIBRARY PHOTO CONTEST
APRIL 24 – APRIL 29
There will be three age groups, 5-12 year olds, 13-18 year olds and 19 on up. Winners will be announced on May 1st. Entries must be a printed photo either 5″X7″ or 8″X10″. Photos must include some aspect of C.E Brehm Library, either inside or outside of the building, in some way. Be creative! All entries must be unpublished, original, and the work of the person who submits it. If the photo includes people, it is the responsibility of the photographer to ensure they have permission for the photo to be displayed. Photographers retain copyright of the photos, but by submitting a photo you are agreeing to let C.E. Brehm display and use your photo online, in person, or in print.
TEAM PUZZLE RACE
APRIL 25 — 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Join us for a family friendly competition. We’re looking for five teams of 4 people age 13&up to work together to complete a 500pc puzzle. We’re also looking for five teams of 2 people ages 9&up (one team member must be 9-12) to complete a 300 pc puzzle. Top teams will win a prize to be announced at a later date.
FREE COMIC BOOK DAY
MAY 6
The library will be giving out free comic books (2 per person) on May 6. Come dressed as your favorite comic book character.
FAMILY FRIENDLY SUMMER READING ESCAPE ROOM
JUNE 3 — 11AM – 3PM
JULY 18 — 3PM – 7PM
Can you escape our Family Friendly Summer Reading Escape Room? Limited to 4 people per session, 4 sessions each date. There will be a movie playing in the meeting room to watch until your turn to escape comes up. Snacks and drinks provided. Call 242-6322 to register.
CHILDREN’S STORY TIME
Join us Wednesday mornings from 10am-11am for stories read aloud. We will have a fun craft/activity that goes along with our theme for the day. Suitable for children ages 3-5. There will not be story time in the months of June & July as we typically take a break for Summer Reading activities.
TAKE & MAKE CRAFTS
Monthly take & make craft kits are available on the first Tuesday of each month. Kits are limited and available on a first come basis.
